ASL Logistics makes business cooperation to Ryobi Holdings who was originally established in 1910 as a light railway company in Okayama City, Japan and since then Ryobi has been playing a leading role in public transportation services to this date over 100 years. During the period Ryobi has been strategically diversified its business fields in response to high economic growth and rapid changes of business environment and currently Ryobi Group comprises more than 50 companies with approximately 9,400 employees including overseas group companies. Ryobi Group is now actively engaged in five core business segments, namely Transportation & Tourism Group, ICT Group, Total Life Services Group (mainly providing food and energy), Urban Development Group, and CSR Group. In 2015 Ryobi established Ryobi (Vietnam) Distribution Service Co., Ltd. in Ho Chi Minh City and Ryobi (Vietnam) has been operating the region’s largest and state-of-the-art two-story Multi-functional warehouse with total space of 24,000 square meters including freezing and refrigerating facilities (Cold Chain warehouse) at Saigon High-tech Park since 2016. Subsequently Ryobi built and currently running the similar Cold Chain warehouse at Thilawa SEZ, Yangon’s vicinity of Myanmar in June 2018 

According to cooperation strategy, ASL Logistics & Ryobi will present respective business strengths, it has been and will be Ryobi's strategic direction to expand our Cold Chain network throughout ASEAN countries. While Ryobi is expanding Cold Chain network in ASEAN countries, ASL Logistics will perform a pivotal role of transportation for those cargoes to be stored in Ryobi’s temperature-controlled warehouse. We define Ryobi’s Cold Chain warehouses as “Points”, ASL Logistics’s transportation service as “Lines” and its customs clearance and other logistics services as “Adhesive”, and now “Points” and “Lines” have been firmly connected with strong “Adhesive” whereby Ryobi/ASL will provide seamless and more efficient logistics services to our existing and prospective customers going forward.
