On 29/11, Ho Chi Minh City Logistics Association (HLA) organized Ho Chi Minh City Logistics Forum 2023, with the theme "Supply chain transformation: Prospects and challenges". Attending the conference were Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Mr. Nguyen Van Dung; Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade Mr. Bui Ta Hoang Vu; Director of Ho Chi Minh City Trade and Investment Promotion Center Mr. Tran Phu Lu; In addition, there were more than 200 guests who were representatives of member logistics enterprises to attend. 

Vietnam has many opportunities to welcome the wave of supply chain transformation in the coming time. To catch up, Vietnam needs to increase investment in developing logistics infrastructure, increasing loading and unloading capacity and seaport storage; Establishing a logistics service supply center in Ho Chi Minh City of regional scale is the main topic discussed at this forum. 

At the same time, experts have pointed out that enterprises need to deploy solutions to improve logistics competitiveness, create digital platforms connecting multimodal transport services to serve state agencies and businesses; Apply advanced technologies (automation, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things ...), synchronously develop transport support services, multimodal transport, improve the quality of logistics services.

Grasping and catching up with this trend, in recent years, ASL has focused on promoting digital transformation when successfully building a high-tech platform to serve the needs of Supply Chain Management for businesses and being a pioneer in deploying professional 4PL Logistics services,  help customers optimize time and management costs. 

Besides, ASL has successfully built software to support customers to calculate freight, surcharges ... Related to exporting goods to all over the world in the fastest way. In this way, ASL has created an advantage and brought added value to significant customers in quotation, bidding, etc. Because today, quick bidding, bidding before competitors is a great advantage in export sales.

Attending this forum, representative of ASL Logistics' Board of Directors, Ms. Vo Thi Phuong Lan - General Director of the Company Vice President of HLA Association met and exchanged with member businesses and was ready to share about ASL's successful experiences in the digital transformation journey. At the same time, she also emphasized promoting cooperation and continuing to accompany the association, contributing to improving competitiveness and developing logistics services in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and of Vietnam's logistics industry in general.
