On the afternoon of July 25, 2024, at the headquarters of ASL Logistics, a conference was held to review the activities of the first 6 months and deploy the direction and tasks for the last 6 months of 2024 of the Emulation Division 5 (Enterprises) of Binh Thanh District. The conference was attended by Mr. Phan Quang Khanh, Head of the Internal Affairs Department of Binh Thanh District People's Committee and representatives of more than 10 member enterprises.

In the report on activities in the first 6 months of the year, enterprises belong to the Emulation Division 5 of Binh Thanh District shared their achievements and challenges, and proposed new directions, suitable to the current market economic situation, implementing production and business plans and contributing to the socio-economic development tasks of the locality in 2024.

About the plan for the last 6 months of the year, the sports activities within the framework of the Sports Festival to celebrate the 79th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024) were approved by the Conference and unanimously voted with the goal of promoting activities and emulation movements of the whole bloc, promising the second half of the year with many meaningful and successful activities, promoting exchanges and connecting businesses together.

Emulation Division 5 member enterprises voted unanimously with the goal of promoting sports activities and emulation movements of the whole bloc.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phan Quang Khanh - Head of the Internal Affairs Department of Binh Thanh District People's Committee highly appreciated the seriousness of the member enterprises when they were fully present at the conference as well as the achievements in production and business of the Emulation Bloc in the first half of 2024. With the consensus and enthusiastic emulation spirit from the enterprises in the bloc, this is a solid foundation to complete the tasks assigned by the leaders at all levels to develop a strong bloc, contributing to the overall development of the whole society.

Mr. Phan Quang Khanh - Head of Internal Affairs Department of Binh Thanh District People's Committee attended and gave a speech at the Conference.

At the end of the Conference, ASL introduced the topic "Digital transformation journey in the logistics industry being applied at the unit: 4PL supply chain management on digital platform" presented by Ms. Dang Lan Huong - Head of R&D Department. Accordingly, ASL is providing a 4PL service management and operation platform for Heineken Brewery Company Limited to manage all operations of 6 factories in Vietnam. This is a comprehensive supply chain management solution on a high-tech and modern platform, integrating potential human resources, technical facilities of ASL with partner organizations to comprehensively and flexibly meet the different needs of customers.

In addition, in 2024, ASL will launch the online service pricing management platform "ASL E-Pricing Platform" to provide customers with instant service quotes for various types of transportation, and can proactively check the necessary documents and procedures for customs clearance of import and export goods, helping to eliminate all barriers of distance and time.

Mrs. Dang Lan Huong - Head of R&D Department - introduced the topic: "The journey of digital transformation in the logistics industry being applied at the unit: 4PL supply chain management on a digital platform".

At the end of the Conference, the Head of Emulation Block 5, Ms. Vo Thi Phuong Lan - General Director and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of ASL Logistics, gave a closing speech and expressed gratitude to the member enterprises who attended in full, the contributions and discussions from the members contributed to creating a successful conference as expected. Thereby, the Head of Block 5 always accepts the opinions of the leaders of Binh Thanh District People's Committee, members of the block and commits to always be a bridge to promote emulation movements in arts, sports, and opportunities for exchange and learning for the common benefit of the whole block and enterprises in the District.
