On the afternoon of December 19th, ASL Logistics had the honor of welcoming the leadership delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee for a field survey of logistics operations at its headquarters on Ung Văn Khiêm Street, Bình Thạnh District. The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyễn Văn Dũng, Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, along with Ms. Võ Thị Trung Trinh – Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications and Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center – as well as leaders from the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Science and Technology, and heads of various industry associations and departments.

The board of management of ASL Logistics had a discussion with the People's Committee leaders regarding the goal of developing logistics into a key service sector. During the meeting, they proposed solutions and emphasized the need for coordination among government levels and associations to help address challenges faced by the logistics business community in Ho Chi Minh City, particularly those related to digital transformation within enterprises.

The members of the delegation listened to an overview of the services provided by ASL, with a particular focus on the digital transformation journey that began in 2005, starting with the company’s first website. This was followed by two advanced technological solutions: the "4PL Logistics Supply Chain Management Platform combined with Customs Brokerage Services" and the digital platform "Logistics Supply Chain Pricing Management - E-pricing Platform." These solutions are considered to have significant potential in helping import-export businesses save costs, reduce time, minimize risks, and enhance the operational efficiency of logistics activities. Additionally, representatives from various departments provided practical feedback to the ASL leadership regarding information security and intellectual property rights related to the technological solutions and applications developed and implemented by ASL.

Speaking at the field survey, the Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of the ASL Logistics team. Their work aligns with the key objectives and tasks outlined in the logistics industry development plan for Ho Chi Minh City over the next five years. By embracing digital transformation and developing highly applicable solutions, ASL Logistics is well-positioned to capture emerging trends. This progress will open up numerous opportunities and serve as a catalyst for shifting mindsets, fostering sustainable development in the logistics sector within Ho Chi Minh City.

At the same time, he also extended his congratulations to ASL on the occasion of its 20th anniversary (January 25, 2005 – January 25, 2025) and expressed hope that ASL will successfully launch its high-tech platform incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI), making a meaningful contribution to the digital transformation efforts and enhancing the competitiveness of the city’s logistics industry.
