Following the success of exporting bird's nests to China at the end of 2023, Hai Yen Nha Trang Company has just had its first shipment arrive in the French market at the end of April 2024. This is also the first batch of bird's nests from Vietnam officially exported to the French market.

This is one of the great milestones of Hai Yen Nha Trang in particular and the Vietnamese bird's nest market in general. I hope that in the future, Vietnamese bird's nest will become more popular in France and the European market."

Hai Yen Nha Trang's products meet the quality inspection requirements of the import market

After the customs clearance, products of Hai Yen Nha Trang company were present at the International Fair "Foire de Paris", recently held in Paris from April 27 to May 8, 2024. This is one of the large-scale fairs in Europe. Hai Yen Nha Trang's product display booth received a lot of attention from visitors.

Faced with open market opportunities, Vietnam has classified bird's nest as one of the special livestock products. Over the past 10 years, Vietnam has implemented many policies to promote the development of the bird's nest industry and the goal of reaching billion USD is not too far away.

Currently, the whole country has 42/63 provinces that raise bird's nests with over 22,000 bird's nest houses. Vietnam's bird's nest output is about 150 tons. Continuously since the beginning of 2024 until now, businesses have boosted export orders, as well as strengthened connections and investments with farmers to develop swiftlet flocks.

In the near future, in addition to exported businesses, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will also provide technical training for farmers to ensure traceability, food hygiene and safety, disease safety, and meet high market criteria. With the advantage of having bird nests in 42/63 provinces and cities, plus favorable natural conditions, Vietnam has many bases to form a bird's nest industry.

According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Animal Husbandry Association of Vietnam, bird's nest must be considered as a livestock as the Livestock Law has legislated. The system of bird's nest houses must have adequate conditions, and bird's nest products must be standardized and regulated. Only by doing so can we develop strongly and affirm Vietnam's national brand of bird's nest.
