DEMOCRACY AND INNOVATION

After nearly 1 year of provisional union activity, in order to proceed the First Congress of the term 2014-2019, the Executive Board have already prepared for the Congress documents, estimated key personnel to participate in, arranging the facilities thoughtfully, and so on…

On November 8^th, 2014, “The Congress of ASL Corp Union – 2014 – 2019” took place at the company meeting room. After 3 hours of hard working in the spirit of democracy and unity, with the attendance of 2 delegates from the Binh Thanh District Federation of Labor, the Board of Directors, and over 60 employees (including 36 unionists), the meeting was greatly successful!

The meeting was running in accordance with the procedure set by the law and regulation of Vietnam Union, the Board had well prepared from the format to the content. The Congress approved “The report on the activities of the Union, the orientation of activities for the new term and the Executive Committee self-review”. Moreover, the Congress presented the self-report truly and frankly, partly helped union members to acknowledge the difficulties that the Board had to deal with. And after a year of experience and conclusion, the approaches for the next 5 sequence years have fully implemented to the Union members. The Congress voted on the report and accepted it unanimously. 

Then, the Congress entrusted to the 5 members with the Executive Committee's responsibility for the next five-yearly term 2014 – 2019. They are talented and virtue members, as well as well-prepared for the next term. The Congress assigned to the Executive Committee to conclude the President, Vice President and the Inspection Board to run and conduct the policies of the Congress.

Mr. Cao Hong Ha – Vice President of Binh Thanh District Federation of Labor approved the Congress’s documentaries, the organization, as well as suggested for more concretizing resolution of the Congress through annual activities plan. Binh Thanh District Federation of Labor also proposed to help for a better operation of the Union. Besides that, the delegate of ASL Corp leadership, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thu – Vice President had a speech and claimed that “the Leadership of the Company will always be preoccupied with every Union activity to give a hand on taking care the Union members’ life.

On the end of the Congress, Mr. Le Trong Hung on behalf of the Congress thanked the leader of The Union, the leadership of the company and the whole staffs and Unionist for their presence congratulate the growth of The Union 1st term (2014 – 2019). Cheers to the Board for health and success to completely and wonderfully achieve the proposition.
