• How to name the product to get more exposure:

According to Mr.Tam’s experience when posting products, please note the structure of the product title including Product name + Material + Country of origin + The most prominent usage, .... (Maximum 128 words), should not name shortly because each title will contain a minimum of 3 keywords, which help increase the exposure on Alibaba.com.

• How to use the keyword properly and effectively:

Keywords are also known as tools that help boost the exposure of the product. Enterprises should research and name the product as well as the keyword carefully according to what the buyer searches most to increase exposure of products.

Understanding keyword becomes easier when Alibaba.com has keyword analysis tool to help enterprise know which keywords are being searched most in a certain period. In addition, enterprise can also use external analytics tools such as Google ads, etc.

• How to distinguish between HIGH QUALITY RFQ and SPAM

RFQ means Request For Quotation. When customers post RFQ, enterprises not only proactively send quotation but also pay attention to identify potential customers, whether this customer is really considering to buy or just asking for a price.

-> Enterprise should research: Where is this customer from? Is the customer’s profile in the last 90 days good (Buyer Rating, Trade action, ..)? Have customer ever made a purchase on Alibaba.com?, ... via the "Buyer Profile" section.

Mr. Tam also shared: “At the beginning, very few people asked for quotation, please do not be discouraged. To improve this situation, you should increase the number of products posted or improve the content of the product description. When customers ask, do not answer in a certain form rigidly because it will create distance with customers. Instead, you should spend time to revise the quotation form to suit their requirements, then send more photos, catalogs to them, etc. to increase reliability and therefore the probability of success will be higher.”
