The key to success for each business comes not only from business strategy, financial strength, technology or brand but also in the staff who have enough heart and scope, desire to contribute to the company. Therefore, when investing in the right people at the right time, putting in the right talents, empowering the right people, businesses in the long run will benefit in many aspects.

Recognizing that, The Board of Directors of Amerasian Shipping Logistics Corp. (ASL Logistics) organized a Leadership training program led by Professor Lou De Castro Myles (leading expert of Aus4Skills - a 10-year cooperation program between Vietnam and Australia) and Team FWELL for the management team of the company "Empowering People For Sustainable Growth In Logistics" on July 9th, 2023 at Novotel Saigon Centre.

The purpose of the training course is to bring a more general and positive perspective in recognizing and evaluating the capacity of the manager himself and members of the department that the manager is responsible for, thereby making the right decision in empowering subordinates at work.

Professor Lou De Castro Myles – Training Expert who has won many great awards from Australia. With 40 years of experience in advising and developing training programs for projects, Mrs. Lou, International Teaching and Consultant (Queensland University of Technology, Australia) is also known as one of the people who have contributed to promoting vocational education for the logistics industry in Vietnam,  Under the Australia with Vietnam Human Resource Development Program (Aus4skills), Mrs. Lou taught and conveyed to more than 24 managers of departments/branches at ASL Logistics the knowledge, skills, ways to realize self-worth and ways to inspire themselves or their subordinates at work.

Small games, practical examples were cleverly integrated into the training session to convey meanings and messages throughout the training session, helping all company managers have moments to study together comfortably and absorb teaching knowledge better.

At the end of the training, Mrs. Cindy Vo – Chairwoman General Director of ASL Logistics shared: "The training course has given the company's managers a lot of professional knowledge and skills on self-worth awareness and proper empowerment. This will help the company have sustainable development, make a long-term step forward in the future and nurture young, talented and enthusiastic managers at work."

On behalf of the Board of Directors and all management of the company, Mrs. Cindy Vo expressed her sincere thanks to Mrs. Lou and she wished that ASL Logistics could have the next training programs with Mrs.Lou and FWELL team in the future.
