On January 20, 2024, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the term 2023-2028 organized a series of activities to celebrate the 19th anniversary of ASL Logistics (January 25, 2005 - January 25, 2024).

Sports Festival "Solidarity & Understanding" in 2024

With a series of activities aimed at fostering unity among employees, this year's "Solidarity & Understanding" sports program took place in a lively atmosphere filled with laughter and enthusiasm from union members. The Trade Union Executive Committee carefully prepared and creatively integrated various games to establish connections and unity within the organization.

Employees from all offices and branches of ASL Logistics had the opportunity to meet and create wall newspapers with drawings, poems, prose passages, or humorous verses to mark the 19-year journey of "Steady steps forward" for ASL Logistics.

Although it was a long day with many exciting activities, ASL employees remained energetic for the lively competitive events and meaningful cultural performances dủing closing ceremony of the sports festival.

Through this sports festival, the goal was to enhance the sense of teamwork, boost morale, and contribute to enriching the cultural and spiritual life of union members, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere to welcome the new year of 2024.

Workers' Conference in 2023

On the same day, the newly-elected Executive Committee for the term 2023-2028 organized the Workers' Conference for 2023 to review prominent activities of the year, and set directions for 2024. This event marked the first activity since the official introduction of the new Executive Committee.

The conference was attended by Ms. Võ Thị Phương Lan - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Company, along with all the company's officials, employees, and union members.

Opening the conference, Mr. Cao Ngọc Thanh - Chairman of the ASL Logistics Trade Union, presented a report summarizing the activities of 2023, plans, goals, and tasks for 2024. The Trade Union Executive Committee, representing the company's leadership, diligently took care of and ensured the well-being and concerns of the workers.

In the year 2023, guided by the Trade Union Executive Committee, the ASL Logistics Trade Union accomplished significant milestones. These achievements encompassed the coordination of charitable initiatives to assist those in need within the Lai Thieu District, Binh Duong, monthly celebrations of union members' birthdays, acknowledgment and rewards for exceptional contributions by the children of union members, as well as providing support and care to unions and their families encountering challenges, illnesses, and other difficulties.

As for Ms. Võ Thị Phương Lan - Chairwoman of the BOD and CEO of ASL Logistics, she will continue to provide guidance for the union's activities in 2024 to ensure the rights and a healthy environment for workers.

During the conference, awards were presented to outstanding union members for their excellent activities in 2023 to encourage and commend individuals, providing motivation for the collective efforts of the ASL Logistics Trade Union in the new journey of 2024.

At the same time, the new Executive Committee expressed gratitude to the former Chairman of the Trade Union for the terms 2013-2018 and 2018-2023, Mr. Hà Thế Trung, and the former Executive Committee for the term 2018-2023, Mr. Võ Văn Hiền, for their contributions to the ASL Logistics Trade Union over the years. 

The ASL Logistics Workers' Conference in 2023 concluded successfully. There is optimism that the outlined plans, tasks, and directions, coupled with the spirit of solidarity within ASL, will bolster the company's confidence and assist the company in achieving its proposed plans with exceptional success. This collective effort is anticipated to make a meaningful contribution to the overall development of the company.
